
Meet the Team

Elliott Educational Services has assembled a network of independent consultants whose expertise spans traditional public, charter, and independent schools and who have worked with preschool through graduate-level students and staff. Consultants have decades of experience in areas such as data analysis and program evaluation, teacher education, curriculum design and instruction, assessment, staff hiring and evaluation, admissions, student life and engagement, parent education and advocacy, etc. Experts from this network may be brought in to work on aspects of a given project as needed.
Christina Hale-Elliott, Ed.M
Founder and Principal Consultant
Christina Hale-Elliott, Ed.M, has been in the field of social justice education for over two decades, having served in an expansive set of roles including secondary English teacher, literacy coach, university lecturer, and supervisor of teacher education. As an educational equity consultant, she provides technical assistance and professional development across the country to promote equitable student outcomes through the use of culturally responsive and sustaining education.
Ms. Hale-Elliott’s passion for education began in her native state of California, where she received her bachelor’s degree in English with an education minor from UCLA. She went on to earn her master's degree in teaching and curriculum from Harvard University.
Dr. Omar Safie
Consultant
Omar Safie, Ph.D., is an assessment professional with nearly 15 years of experience in assessment and evaluation at all levels of education. Within the K-12 educational setting, Dr. Safie utilizes mixed-methods to evaluate schools and school programs. He emphasizes the importance of using observational data and the voices of those in the K-12 setting to paint a fuller picture of the educational program’s strengths and areas for growth. At any level, Dr. Safie strongly believes that assessment should be a continuous process that leads to program improvement.
Dr. Safie received his B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside, his M.A. from California State University, San Bernardino, and his Ph.D. from the Claremont Graduate University.
Dr. Parissa M. Clark
Consultant
Dr. Parissa M. Clark is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Riverside City College and is the daughter of immigrant parents. She is a former middle and high school teacher and has taught in Harlem, South LA, and the Inland Empire. In addition, she has served as a supervisor of teacher education and has taught college classes in politics, education, and ethnic studies at institutions such as UC Riverside, UCLA, and Cal Poly Pomona. Her latest research is on restorative practices in the college and social studies classroom.
Dr. Clark attended UCLA as an undergraduate, studying Political Science and Spanish Literature, and earned her MA in Education from the City University of New York. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA, specializing in Race and Ethnicity Politics.
Shadeed Ali Elliott, M.Ed.
Consultant
For nearly 25 years, Shadeed Ali Elliott, M.Ed. has supported students, staff, and families through a myriad of capacities including as a middle school English teacher, director of multicultural enrollment and services, director of supervision and evaluation, and high school dean of students. He has worked in boarding and day independent schools throughout the country, and he has also led the development and implementation of curriculum focused on gender identity and expression through his role as director for a nonprofit organization.
Mr. Elliott received his B.A. in Child Development and Sociology as well as his M.Ed. from Tufts University.
